My area of ​​responsibility includes the analysis of all expenses of a company, including those that are not classically processed and influenced by Purchasing, such as insurances, personnel services, consulting services (legal advice, management consulting), fleet management, travel expenses and much more.

By analyzing the procurement market, potential alternative suppliers and service providers are identified and potential savings are determined. In cooperation with the customer, inquiries or tenders are carried out and, if successful, qualification measures are initiated.

As part of Supplier- and Risk-Management, sourcing initiatives are carried out worldwide, if necessary, and the supplier portfolio is optimized according to customer needs.

Furthermore, I analyze the processes of my clients along the value chain, i. e. from procurement to production, from storage to sales and work with them to determine optimization options in order to reduce cycle times and costs.

Due to many years of experience and close cooperation with all areas of the company, I focus in particular on the optimization of interfaces in order to ensure a smooth internal and external process flow.

The mandates are often associated with intended structural changes / change management and require measures in the areas of strategy, structure / processes and employees as well as the introduction of new tools and measurement parameters (KPIs).
